Making Low Calorie Healthy Potato Chips In The Microwave - Passion for Food

Today's Passion for Food? Ultra crispy, ultra tasty low calorie healthy potato chips make in the microwave, yes I said MICROWAVE!  Seriously, I'm not crazy and this is not a fake picture, this works like a charm, has half (1/2) to one third (1/3) the calories of regular deep fat fried chips and they are ever bit as crispy and delicious! Plus making them couldn't be easier! Low Calorie Healthy Potato Chips In The Microwave Recipe: Russet Potato Mandolin, Slicer, Spiralizer, or Greater. Salt & Other seasonings to taste Oil optional Slice or otherwise process potatoes very thin, place on parchment paper (with or without oil) and season. Microwave on high for 3:30 minutes to start per 2-3 Oz of potato, continue microwaving on high in 30 second increments until potatoes start to brown. Remove and let cool 1 minutes on cooling wrack. Enjoy!

Today on Passion for Food i'll show you how to make easy sour cream mash potato! These mashed potatoes really are super easy, and a great change of pace from the usual milk and butter mash recipe we normally make! Just a quick note after making it a few more times, I think it's even better if you add about 1/3rd cup of green onion, scallions to the potatoes at the same time you add your butter! You create that wonderful "sour cream and onions" vibe we all love!
