Today's Passion for Food? Ultra crispy, ultra tasty low calorie healthy potato chips make in the microwave, yes I said MICROWAVE! Seriously, I'm not crazy and this is not a fake picture, this works like a charm, has half (1/2) to one third (1/3) the calories of regular deep fat fried chips and they are ever bit as crispy and delicious! Plus making them couldn't be easier!
Low Calorie Healthy Potato Chips In The Microwave Recipe:
- Russet Potato
- Mandolin, Slicer, Spiralizer, or Greater.
- Salt & Other seasonings to taste
- Oil optional
Slice or otherwise process potatoes very thin, place on parchment paper (with or without oil) and season. Microwave on high for 3:30 minutes to start per 2-3 Oz of potato, continue microwaving on high in 30 second increments until potatoes start to brown. Remove and let cool 1 minutes on cooling wrack.
