I love a good chili dog & chili burger. But the store bough canned hot dog and burger chili just isn't very good. Not only that but the majority of the brands I checked DON'T EVEN CONTAIN BEEF. Yes you read that correctly. No beef. Check the ingredient list! A lot of them had beef fat, and TVP - Textured vegetable protein. I did find a brand with real beef, but frankly, it was nasty tasting. So it's time to make our own hot dog chili, and make it AMAZING and oh so simple at home!

Today we make the perfect egg custard, and we make it without any sugar!
