Biltong is a South African classic! I spent more than a decade perfecting my biltong recipe, so I'm excited to share it with all of you! There are a few secrets to it getting it JUST right. The combination of a quick & simple marination plus using whole coriander and toasting it ourselves gives this traditional African style of jerky is signature Biltong flavor!
Biltong Recipe - South African Traditional Beef Jerky:
- ~4 lbs lean beef
For the Marinade:
- 2 cups of apple cider vinigar
- 4 cups of water
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
For the Biltong Spice:

- 40 g TOASTED course ground coriander
- 14 g ground pepper
